The Internet of Things (IoT) concept is introduced, envisioning a future where various devices communicate and exchange information through wireless connections.


Cloud Technologies and Computing: 

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) outlines key properties for cloud technologies, including self-service on demand, universal network access, resource pooling, flexibility, and consumption accounting. These properties enable users to access computing resources remotely and dynamically adjust them based on their needs.

Intelligent Industrial Building: 

Modern industrial buildings are evolving into intelligent structures, integrating engineering, information communication, and security systems. The hardware components of intelligent systems include controllers, expansion devices, and end devices. The term "Internet of Things" is introduced as a vision where communication devices and controlled devices interact through wireless connections.

Remote Access Control and Cloud Technologies: 

The research highlights the advantages of remote access control using cloud technologies in intelligent industrial buildings. These advantages include enhanced security through remote monitoring, improved comfort for users, and the ability to manage systems from various distances. The concept of an intelligent production building with cloud-based remote control is illustrated.

Implementation Options: 

Two implementation options are discussed, emphasizing the flexibility of cloud-based solutions. The main controller or server for managing intelligent building systems can be located remotely, accessible via the cloud, or installed within the building with remote control capabilities through cloud technologies.
